Kylie Mitchell Hightower, age 37, of McDonough, died Monday, November 25, 2019. Chris, Kylie and Hallie were anxiously anticipating Little Henry Douglas 'Hank' Hightower who was born Monday, November 25, and died November 26. Kylie was a graduate of Heritage High School, Conyers, GA, class of 2000, and attended Valdosta State College where she was on the volleyball team and received a BA degree in Multimedia. She loved spending time with her daughter, Hallie, being involved in her church, playing games with her family and friends (especially cards, which she was a 'card shark'), participating in sports and watching football and baseball games on television. Kylie enjoyed her job as a realtor with Southside Realty and was very talented in knowing what a house needed in order to sell. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Larry Hightower. A loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister, she is survived by her husband of 12 years, Chris Hightower of McDonough; daughter, Hallie Hightower; parents, Joe and Karen Mitchell of Conyers; brothers, Joedy Mitchell and his wife, Amy, of Woodruff, SC, and Kasey Mitchell and his wife, Courtni, of Woodstock, GA; mother-in-law, Karen Hightower; brother-in-law, Bobby Fincher and his wife, Miriam, of Social Circle; sister-in-law, Lynne Maxwell and her husband, Billy, of Social Circle; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral service will be held 2 o'clock, Sunday, December 1, at The Presbyterian Church of the Resurrection, 3676 Hwy 20 NE. Conyers, GA 30012, with Pastor Greg McMinn officiating. Interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8, Saturday, November 30, at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia. In lieu of flowers, the Hightower and Mitchell families are requesting memorial contributions to benefit Kylie's daughter, Hallie Hightower.
