Kenneth "Kenny" Daniel Busbee, age 52, of Covington, died November 3, 2024. Born June 24, 1972, Kenny was an inspiring figure to many and was known for his love of people and ability to make conversation with anyone. He had a passion for music, dancing, spending his free time riding his 4-wheeler and traveling, often to churches near and far to share his love for singing.
Kenny spent 27 years as a beloved courtesy clerk at the Covington Kroger on Hwy 20, a testament to his enduring work ethic and dedication. It brought him great joy to work in his yard as well as lend a hand in his neighbor, Ed's, yard. Kenny was always involved in special needs events, and in 2023 was crowned "Prom King", a highlight that showcased his loving nature and the impact he had on those around him.
Preceding him in death were his parents, George and Diane Busbee. He is survived by his sister, Patricia Faith; several brothers, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
A graveside service will be held 2 o'clock, Thursday, November 7, at Fairview Memorial Gardens, Stockbridge, with Pastor Nolan Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 6, from 4-6 PM at Henry Funeral Home, 6833 Church Street, Lithonia, GA.
We encourage those who knew Kenny to share their memories and upload photos to his memorial page, as we celebrate his inspiring life.
