Judy Ann Loggins, age 75, of Decatur, died Thursday, August 29, 2019. Born in Decatur, Georgia, to John Hamilton and Ruth Ellis Moss, she was a graduate of Gordon High School, class of 1963. Judy was a bus driver for many years, first for Stone Mountain Christian School and later for DeKalb County School System. She was a member of Tanner Baptist Church in Ellenwood and later attended Mountain View Baptist Church. Sewing, fishing, going to the mountains, and cooking for her family (especially her Sour Cream Pound Cake and Chocolate Cake) were things Judy enjoyed. But the most important thing in her life was her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Wayne Moss and Lee Moss; and sisters, Marie Goddard and Mary Garver. Judy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gerald Loggins; son, Preston Loggins and his wife, Donna, of Conyers; daughters, Sherry Conaway and her husband, Jim, of Conyers, Wanda Westbrook and her husband, Kevin, of Decatur, Becky Slocum and her husband, Shane, of Dacula; Tammie Craft of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Ashley Uber and husband, John, Brooke Flege and husband, Bill, Leann Pracht and husband, Erich, Whitney Leavell and husband, Casey, Melissa Segrest and husband, Jonathan, Katie Morris and husband, Will, Seth Johnson and wife, Taylor, Chris Westbrook, Hannah Slocum, Ashley Westbrook, Aubrey Richardson, Jenna Slocum, and Mollie Richardson; great-grandchildren, Kirsten, Karli, Madison, Bryce, Brantley, Paisleigh, Wyatt, Sadie, and Emery; nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 1 o'clock, Sunday, September 1, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Rev. Ikey Loggins and Rev. Ronald Black officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 11:30 to 1 o'clock prior to service time.
