Judith Cochran

Judith Cochran, age 79, passed away April 4, 2026.

She was a longtime resident of Lithonia and spent her final years at Delmar Gardens of Gwinnett. She had a deep love for music, literature, and movies, and above all, for her Savior, Jesus Christ. Judith never met a stranger and was cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She dedicated more than forty years of service as a secretary, where her cheerful and outgoing personality suited her well for her work. A woman of strong faith, she was a longtime member of the church, beginning at Glenhaven Baptist, then Redan First Baptist (later Park Place Baptist Church), and most recently, Macedonia Baptist Church.

Judith was married to her loving husband, Terry, for 55 years until his passing in 2025. She is fondly remembered by her son and daughter-in-law, Wray and Linsey Cochran; her grandson, Maverick Cochran; and a host of extended family members.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 1 o'clock, Saturday, April 18, at Rockdale Baptist Church with Dr. Billy Moss officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church, from 12-1 PM.
