Visitation: Thursday, April 27, 2017 6 - 8 p.m. Place: Henry Funeral Home, Social Circle Joseph Peyton Stallworth, age 85, of Athens died April 21, 2017. Joe served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a loving father and grandfather and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially cooking. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Eppie Stallworth; sister, Frances Mosley; and brother Roscoe Stallworth, Jr.. Surviving are his daughter, Jennifer C. Stalilonis and her husband, Chris, of Denver, CO; son, Peyton Stallworth of Social Circle; grandchildren, Lily Stalilonis and Nell Stalilonis of Denver, CO; nephew, Martin Mosley and his wife, Teresa, of Byron; great niece Kaitlyn Mosley and great nephew Trey Mosley, both of Byron. The family will receive friends 6 - 8 Thursday, April 27 at Henry Funeral Home, Social Circle. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Stanford Library Guild, Inc., P.O.
