Joseph Emmitt Carlisle, better known as Joey, age 65, of Gainesville, Georgia, died on February 1, 2024. He was a man of faith, regularly attending church and participating in Bible studies. Joey owned and operated a stainless steel installation business, a venture that showcased his inventive spirit and commitment to hard work. He filled his spare time with the simple pleasures of fishing and camping and had a deep affection for rock and roll music. His love for life was often expressed through the joyous tickling and teasing of his grandchildren, creating memories that will continue to bring smiles to their faces. Joey was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Beverly Carlisle. Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Charlotte Milford Carlisle; children and their spouses, Chantal & Joshua Wheeler, Robert Williams, Jr., Kimberly Williams, Rebecca Williams & Chris Allen; 9 grandchildren; brother, Billy Carlisle; and 2 sisters.
