Johnny J. Wilbanks, age 61, of Jackson, Georgia, died July 24, 2015. He was employed by Newton County Roads and Drainage Dept. Johnny is survived by his wife of 43 years, Doreen; daughter, Brandie Clemons and her husband, John, of Covington; sons, Jeremy Wilbanks and his wife, Tara, of Monticello and Jamey Wilbanks and his wife, Tammy, of Monticello; sisters, Leona Roberts of Snellville, Mary Waugh of Covington, Pearl Young of Monroe, Geneva Steele of Jackson, and Ann Brown of Madison; brother, June Wilbanks of Covington; grandchildren, Jake, Tayler, Kayla, Colby, Austin, Kaitlyn, Braydan, and Carlie; nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11 o'clock, Wednesday, July 29, in the Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Dr. Jim Martin officiating.
