John Armoury "Papa John" Hill, age 88, of Lithonia, died December 30, 2014. John was born May 5, 1926 in Miami Shores, Florida to Andrew Ault and Mary Monira Hill. He proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army. In 1947, he married Ella Dell Reagin of Lithonia. He retired from Associated Printing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Dell; daughter, Wanda Hill Sullens; and son, Jimmy Hill. Surviving are his children, Frank, and his wife Georgia; Louan Christian, and her husband Tommy; Jonel Wilson, and her husband Cecil; and Freida Long; grandchildren, Chuck Hill, John Paul Hill, Frank Hill, Greta Corbin, Matt Christian, Leigh Icenogle, Johnny Sullens, Telisha Sullens, Ricky Sullens, Randall Sullens, Jamie Hill, Jessica Parker, Jeffrey Long, Kaylee Sinrich, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 4, from 2-6 at Henry Funeral Home in Lithonia. A funeral service will be held 11 o'clock Monday, January 5, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Dr. Jim Martin officiating.
