Jerry Thomas Parker, Sr., age 83, of Conyers, died April 19, 2021. He was born in Piedmont, Alabama to Jack and Ardel Parker. Jerry worked for many years in residential construction for Tiller Construction. He enjoyed fishing, farming, gardening, watching westerns on television, and especially taking care of his grandson. Jerry, who was known as "Pop" by his family, loved his son and grandson dearly. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Kirkpatrick Parker; parents, Jack and Ardel Parker; brothers, Gene and Clifford Parker. Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Brandy Parker of Conyers; grandson, Jerry Thomas Parker, III; brother, Allen Parker of Piedmont, Alabama; sister, Bonnie Parker of Piedmont, Alabama; and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held 3-5 o'clock, Saturday, April 24, at Henry Funeral Home.
