Jeremy Joel Sanchez

It is with enduring heartache that we announce the sudden passing of Jeremy Joel Sanchez (age 43).

Jeremy was skilled in a great many things from HVAC, tile work, ramps, decking, and all things home renovation to his woodworking, paint, and guitar hobbies. Working with his hands and bringing his visions to life were some of his greatest strengths. The only thing he enjoyed more than working with his hands was spoiling his dogs. Over the years, he had countless four-legged best friends (Rascal, Billy, Buddy, Biscuit, Pepe - to name a few). The only thing he excelled at more than loving his dogs was loving the people around him. Jeremy never met a stranger; just friends that he hadn't met yet.

Jeremy had been living with congestive heart-failure for several years which had forced a very vivacious and exuberant man to live a more static lifestyle. Though his wild spirit never faltered, over the years, his body grew too tired to keep up, and on Thursday, September 10, 2026, his heart took him back home to be with God.

He will forever be remembered for the love he gave so freely, the infectious laughter he shared so prevailingly, and his fearless and joyful spirit that made even the mundane moments feel like an adventure. Jeremy is deeply and unconditionally loved by his entire family and friends both old and new.

Jeremy is survived by his mother (Elena Robinson), sister (Kallie Robinson), and dogs (Flip and Baby) in Georgia; his father (Jaime Sanchez), step-mother (Maggie Sanchez), and brothers (Ricky and Daniel Sanchez) in South Carolina; his best friend (Dawn Ledford) in North Carolina; a large loving extended family; and a lifetime of caring friends.

All those who have loved Jeremy and been kind to him throughout his life are welcome to join his family for a Celebration of Life memorial gathering on Sunday, September 20th from 1pm - 4pm at the Oak Pavillion in Tribble Mill Park (2125 Tribble Mill Parkway, Lawrenceville, GA). We will gather together to enjoy some of his favorite foods, exchange stories, and share photos.  In lieu of flowers, the family invites guests to bring food, stories, and/or photos to share.

In this difficult time of grief, the family welcomes stories, photos, and shared memories of Jeremy and encourages everyone that was fortunate enough to know and love him to hold onto the light.
