Jennifer Lelia Thompson, age 67, of Atlanta, Georgia, died June 14, 2024. Born in Atlanta, GA, on July 10, 1956, Jennifer was a woman of generous spirit, a loving mother, and a supportive friend. She was a beacon of warmth for her family and friends. She spent her career as a telephone operator with Atlanta City Hall before retiring and proudly served in the US Army Reserves as a Medical Supply Specialist, exhibiting her dedication to her country. She was a matriarch, a social butterfly, and a woman who never met a stranger. Her hobbies brought her great joy, and included gardening, solving crossword puzzles, watching movies and enjoying her favorite beverage, Coca Cola. Jennifer's favorite TV shows were Mission: Impossible, Perry Mason, and The Rifleman, and her favorite musical acts included, Barry White; Earth, Wind & Fire; and Deniece Williams, to name a few. Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents, Alphonso and Ella Harris; her twin brother, Jeffrey Harris; and brother, Lorenzo Harris. She is survived by her partner of 30 years, Rickie Foreman; daughter, Jylissia Foreman; siblings, Shirley Ruth (Harris) McClain, Annette (Harris) Redmon, Allene Harris, Charlene Harris, Charlotte (Harris) Arnold, and Davida (Harris) Truvillion; many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
