Jeffrey B. Morgan, age 51, of Monroe (formerly of Lithonia and Stone Mountain), died Sunday, July 17, 2016. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Mitchell Morgan. Surviving are his wife, Darlene; son, J.B. Morgan; father, Clarence B. "C.B." Morgan, Jr. and his wife, Sherry, of Monticello; brother, Tony Morgan of Monticello; aunts, Faye Lewis and her husband, Gerald, of Mansfield, Judy Camp and her husband, David, of Loganville; uncles, Johnny Ray Morgan and his wife, Delourise, of Monticello, and Bobby Mitchell; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jeff worked for many years at John H. Harland and later at Toys R Us. He was a 1982 graduate of Redan High School and a 1989 graduate of Georgia State College where he received a BS degree in Business. Jeff enjoyed NASCAR, photography, hunting, target shooting, water skiing, golfing, classic cars, and was also a big sports fan who enjoyed baseball and football. He enjoyed doing many of these with his son, J.B., but most of all enjoyed sitting with him by the camp fire and riding the mule with him through the woods. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held 11 o'clock Saturday, July 23, at Bold Springs United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Devine officiating.
