Surviving are her husband, Michael Lamar Roberts; son, William Henry Atkinson III and his wife Tamara; son, David Jeffery Atkinson and his wife Tracy; son, Bradford Paul Atkinson and his wife Carolyn; son, Joseph Michael Roberts; sister, Beckie Townsend Harrison; brother, Billy Farmer; 19 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Janice was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She loved the Lord with all of her heart. She cherished her family and friends. She was a vivacious, loving and generous lady. She will be fondly remembered for being the life of the party, her sweet smile and caring spirit. We can hear her in heaven singing "come on get this party started!" We miss you already! A memorial service will be held 6:30 Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Faith Baptist Church, Monroe, with Rev. Chris Conner officiating. The family will receive friends 4:30 - 6:30 prior to the service.
