Jan Minix Railey, age 56, of Covington, died April 21, 2014. For many years she worked as a bartender and delivered papers for the Rockdale Citizen. She was preceded in death by parents, Gus and Barbara Minix and husband, Thomas Railey. Surviving are daughters, Stephanie Walker of Stockbridge, Jana Walker of Covington, and Michelle Minix of Monticello; brothers, Joe Minix and Jerry Minix, both of Covington; 6 grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2 o'clock, Thursday, April 24, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. Entombment will follow at Hillandale Memorial Park.
