James Anthony Stanley, Jr. age 37, of Loganville, passed away January 11, 2020. Anthony was an active member of Community Church of Praise in Stockbridge , where he enjoyed singing with the praise team on Sunday night; singing in the choir; all choir activities; playing the piano; and being a teacher in children's church. He also enjoyed shopping, decorating, and taking care of his cousins, Lexie and Laney each afternoon when they got out of school. Anthony was preceded in death by his stepdad, Robert Evens; and grandparents, James and Peggy Stanley. Surviving are his mother, Diane Evens; uncles, Donald Fain "Goose Neck" and his wife, Eleanor, of Lilburn, George Fain and his wife, Margaret, of Lilburn, Todd Stanley of Stockbridge; aunts, Kathy Stanley Saye and her husband, Robert, of Evans, Lynda Fain of Conyers, and Peggy Fain of Dacula; many family members and friends. A funeral service will be held 3 o'clock, Tuesday, January 14, at Community Church of Praise, with Pastor Ken Smith officiating. The family will receive friends 5-8, Monday evening at the church. The interment will be 1 o'clock, Wednesday, January 15, at Calvary Church of God, Cemetery, Westminster, SC.
