James Watson Holston

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jimmy "Holstein" Holston, age 86, of Conyers, GA. Jimmy was born in High Point, NC, in 1939 to Spencer Holston and Nettie Mae Cranford Holston. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Jenny Holston; his daughters, Teresa Holston, Dana Holston, and Cindy Christian (Norman Chandler) all of Conyers, GA; his grandchildren, Britt Christian (Amanda Christian) of Monroe, GA, Colt Chandler of Conyers, GA; and his great-grandchildren, James Hayden Christian and Logan Samuel Christian, both of Monroe, GA. James Hayden was affectionately named after his great-grandfather.

To know Jimmy was to love him and to be loved by him. He made everyone feel like family. He loved spending time with his family, visiting the beach, and all things baseball- from watching UNC and the Braves to cheering on his great-grandchildren at their baseball games. He loved life and he especially cherished his family. Although there is sorrow in this incredible loss, there is joy in the homegoing. His love, kindness, and spirit will remain in our hearts forever. 

Jimmy's family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
