Service: 2 o'clock, Saturday, June 16, 2018 Place: First Baptist Church of Lithonia Visitation: One hour prior to service. Place: First Baptist Church of Lithonia Iris Dunahoo Howard, age 88, of Lithonia died June 14, 2018. She retired from the People's Bank of Lithonia after 27 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lithonia. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Wright Howard, Jr.; son, Asa Wright Howard; twin sister, Ila Dunahoo; sister, Eloise Miller, and brother, Henry Grady Dunahoo. Surviving are daughter, Jill Sax and husband, Dan, of Atlanta; sister, Bobbie Coleman of Shellman; brother, Hilburn Dunahoo of Centreville, AL; sister-in-law, Peggy Giles of Loganville, 4 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2 o'clock, Saturday, June 16, at the First Baptist Church of Lithonia, with Rev. Bob Lindsay and Dr. Jim Martin officiating. Interment will follow at the Lithonia City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Lithonia, P.O. Box 378, Lithonia, GA 30058. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
