Imogene McDaniel Smith, 77, of Social Circle, died August 21, 2015. Born in Winder, Imogene was a 1957 graduate of Dacula High School. Shortly after graduation, she began her working career with Red Fox Apparel Company, which became Carwood, which became Duck Head Manufacturing. Imogene retired after 45 years of devoted and faithful service. She was a long time member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Social Circle. Imogene is survived by her husband of 32 years, Carey Smith; sisters, Ruby Wall of Dacula and Rachael Cromer of Winder; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Mrs. Smith will be held at the graveside, 4 o'clock, Sunday, August 23, Bethel Baptist Church, 851 Bethel Bower Rd, Bethlehem GA 30620. Rev. Don Malcolm will officiate.
