Hershel Harbin

Hershel "Lee" Harbin, Jr., age 78, of Conyers, died July 14, 2023. Lee was a loyal man, a trait that was evident in his service to his country in the United States Army and involvement with the Boy Scouts and the AT&T Pioneers, where he made lasting contributions. After a successful career as a Telecommunications Specialist with AT&T, he retired and devoted his time to working on his 44-acre farm in Maysville, a testament to his dedication and his love for the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel Lee Harbin, Sr., and Ruth Claire Altman Harbin; sister and brother-in-law, Claire and Kenneth Tanner. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Cathy Scott Harbin; son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Sandy Harbin of Bremen; granddaughters, Savanna and Reagan Harbin; nieces, Tamela and Woody Folsom, Paula and the late Jeff Tanner; 5 great-nieces and great-nephews. A graveside service will be held 11 o'clock, Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens in Snellville with Rev. David Hardy officiating. Arrangements by Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia.
