Service: 11 o'clock, Saturday, November 19, 2016 Place: Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home Herbert Franklin "Frank" Blount, age 71, of Loganville, died November 11, 2016. He was a family man who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren, with his greatest love being his wife, Merry, who he had known for over 40 years. He was also an avid hunter and workaholic. Frank knew the Bible and is now in Heaven with his Lord and Savior. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Maidie Blount, and brother, Ricky Blount. Surviving are his wife, Merry Blount; daughters, Pam Smith and another daughter named Pam; son, Brian Barfield; sisters, Debbie Kight of Alabama, Darlene Fouts and Jaynell Louge, both of Georgia; brothers, Jimmy, Freddie, Johnny, Buck and Willie, all of Georgia; grandchildren, Sean, Aaron, Cody, Jonah, and Makayla; great granddaughter, Amelia; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11 o'clock, Saturday, November 19, in the Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Rev. David Newton officiating.
