Service: 3 o'clock, Sunday, April 23, 2017 Place: Hillandale Memorial Park Visitation: 1 - 2:30 prior to the service Place: Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia Hazel M. Jones, age 87, of Decatur died April 20, 2017. She retired after 38 years of service with Southern Bell and was an active member in the Telephone Pioneers of America. Hazel was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church, the Red Hat Society and active in the American Red Cross. She loved to travel and stay busy, and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Milton Jones; sisters, Eleanor Yoders, Betty Green, Willie Mae Blair, and Ara Moore; brothers, Ralph Moore and Larry Moore. Surviving are her daughter, Linda Maze and her husband, Donald, of Lawrenceville; son, Robert Anthony "Tony" Jones of Decatur; brothers, Jack D. Moore of TN and Walter T. Moore, Jr. of Murphy, NC; grandchildren, Robert Sean Davis and his wife, Melanie, of Monroe, James Russell "Russ" Davis, Jr. of Snellville, and Alex Brandon Davis and his wife, Christie, of Winder; great grandchildren, Trey Walters and Carter Davis of Winder, and Owen Davis and Presley Davis of Lawrenceville; several nieces and nephews; special friends Angie, Nora, Joanie, Betty, Mary, Sadie, and Kathryn. A graveside service will be held 3 o'clock, Sunday, April 23, at Hillandale Memorial Park, Lithonia, with Katrina Tahir officiating. The family will receive friends 1 - 2:30 before the service at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia.
