Harold Roger Worthy, age 95, of Conyers, died July 3, 2022. He was born in Loganville to Hiram and Clemmie Odessa Worthy. Harold worked as a maintenance supervisor for the City of Conyers for many years. He enjoyed picking his guitar; watching the Atlanta Braves; NASCAR; his family (especially the grandkids); and chewing Brown Mule Chewing Tobacco. Harold loved gospel music and attended Light of Calvary Church in his early years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Geraldine Mote Worthy; parents; brothers, Branson Worthy, David Worthy and Lonnie Worthy; sisters, Reuden Lovell, Leona Johnson and Bobbie Maddox. Surviving are his sons, Steve Worthy and his wife, Vicky, Randy Worthy and his wife, Kathie, and Terry Worthy, all of Conyers; daughters, Debra French and her husband, Bill, Elaine Guyton and her husband, Frank, and Sandy Norman and her husband, Ray, all of Conyers; sister-in-law, Katherine Mote of Conyers; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2 o'clock, Wednesday, July 6th in the Chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Bro. Eric Lee officiating. The interment will follow at Philadelphia Methodist Church Cemetery, 2195 West Hightower Trail, Conyers, GA 30012. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Henry Funeral Home.
