Gwendolyn Jewell Cannon Kenan, age 76, of Snellville, died December 1, 2019. She was born in Lake Wales, Florida, to Walter and Jewell Cannon and was a graduate of Thompson County High School. Gwendolyn retired as a bus driver for Gwinnett County School System. She enjoyed working in her yard, arts and crafts, (especially sewing, knitting, crocheting), and baking her family's favorite, "Cake Delight." Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Owen Thomas "Mickey" Kenan, Jr.; parents; daughters, Melissa and Sherry; brothers, Steve and Lamar Cannon; and sister Norma Jean Cannon; surviving are her children Michael Lee Kenan and his wife, Gwendolyn, of Charleston, SC, Mischelle Bolin and her husband, Jeffrey, of Snellville, Ken Kenan and his wife, Terry, and LuAnne Segars and her husband, Joe, of Dawsonville; brothers, Larry Cannon and his wife, Susie of Doerun, GA, and Kenneth Cannon of Decatur; grandchildren, Autumn, Austin, Heather, Holly, Justin, Josh, Lance, Whitney, Rachel, Brad, Brett, and Brittany; thirteen great grandchildren. The inurnment service will take place 11 o'clock. Saturday, December 14, at Riverside Cemetery, 220 Cotton Ave, Albany, GA, 31701, with Father Ray officiating.
