Obituary

Service: 2 o'clock, Saturday, August 20, 2016 Place: Rockland United Methodist Church Visitation: 6 - 8 Friday evening Place: Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia Glen Reagin, age 88, of Lithonia, died July 28, 2016. A lifelong resident of Lithonia, he served his country honorably in the United States Army and was a member of VFW Post 5290 in Conyers. He enjoyed working in his yard, riding his Honda Gold Wing motorcycle, and traveling. Glen had planned to travel to Australia but was unable to make the trip when the time came. He had a great love for his churches, Hipps Chapel Church in Blue Ridge and Rockland United Methodist Church in Lithonia. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, he is preceded in death by his parents, E.C. and Estelle Reagin; sisters, Laura Robinson and Mildred Wise; and brothers, James Reagin and Bill Reagin. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Louise Chewning Reagin; daughters, Andrea Williams of Lithonia, and Lynn Gentry and her husband, Tommy, of Alpharetta; son, Clyde Reagin of McCaysville; sister-in-law's, Marjorie Reagin of Conyers and Vivian Reagin of Lithonia; brother-in-law's, Gene Chewning of New Mexico and Jack Worthey of Blue Ridge; grandchildren, Amy Reagin Ford, Christoffer Gentry, Maggie Gentry, Laura Reagin, Rheanna Lowery, Kelly Reagin, and Michael Lee; great grandchildren, Presleigh Lowery, Jackson Ford, and Catherine Ford; several nieces and nephews. A service will be held 2 o'clock, Saturday, August 20, at Rockland United Methodist Church with Rev. Delmar Davenport and Rev. Deanna Lynch officiating. The family will receive friends 6 - 8 Friday evening at Henry Funeral Home in Lithonia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Hipps Chapel Church (7212 Highway 2, Blue Ridge, GA 30513); Rockland United Methodist Church (6747 Rockland Road, Lithonia, GA 30038); or the Parkinson's Disease Foundation (1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018).
