Frank Harvey Carter, Jr. age 83, of Bethlehem, Georgia, died Sunday, May 19, 2019. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force and worked for many years as National Sales Manager for Taylor Adhesive. Frank enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, fishing, hunting, golfing, and his parrots, but most of all spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Hilda Rakestraw Carter and his stepson, Frank O'Daniel. Surviving are his son, Charles Carter and his wife, Laurie, of Bethlehem, Georgia; daughters, Jean Cuppy and her husband, Troy, Kansas City, Kansas, Diane Franks and her husband, Tom, of Memphis, Tennessee, and Kathy Tyge of Memphis, Tennessee; brother, Benjamin Carter and his wife, Janice, of Houston, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. The arrangement for services will be announced later.
