Floyd Wells "Bub" Jenkins, age 85, of Stockbridge, died Saturday, February 2, 2019. He was a 1950 graduate of South West Dekalb High School; owned and operated the Log Cabin Bar-B-Que Restaurant on Glenwood Road, Decatur for many years; and served his country honorably in the U. S. Army. Floyd was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jenkins. A loving father and grandfather, he is survived by his sons, Tracy Jenkins and Michael Jenkins, both of Conyers; daughter, Patricia Jenkins of McDonough; sister, Sandra Jenkins of Stockbridge six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 2 o'clock, Thursday, February 7, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Rev. Ron Plott officiating. Interment will follow at Dawn Memorial Park with military honors. The family will receive friends from 5-8 Wednesday evening at Henry Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
