Florrie Peyton Forester, 92, of Lithonia, died October 11, 2014, A native of Banks County and a long time resident of Stone Mountain, Mrs. Forester was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Forester and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Bob Gordon of Stone Mountain; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Olivia Forrester of Lithonia and Frank and Dorothy Forrester of Milner; sisters, Catherine Wilbanks of Alto and Doris Andrews of Toccoa; brother, Bruce Peyton of Alto; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2 o'clock, Wednesday, October 15, at First Baptist Church of Lithonia. Mrs. Forester will lie in repose beginning one hour prior to the service. Rev. David Smith and Rev. Robert Lindsay will officiate and burial will follow at Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain.
