Service: 4 o'clock, Friday, September 22, 2017 Place: Rockland United Methodist Church, Lithonia Visitation: 5 - 7 Tuesday evening Place: Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia Everette M. Duvall, age 74, of Lithonia, died on Saturday, September 16. A loving husband and father, Everette enjoyed gardening and building. He enlisted in the army during the Vietnam era and later worked for the Georgia Department of Agriculture as a meat inspector, retiring with over 30 years of service. He is preceded in death by parents, Owen and Gladys Duvall; son, Lewis; brother, Leonard; sister, Elizabeth. Surviving are his loving wife of 30 years, Nancy Ellen; son, Ricky; daughter, Marsha and husband George; brothers, David and wife Gladys, Terry and wife Allison, Dan and wife Shirley, Tommy and wife Sonia; sisters, Mary Ellen, Clara Mae and husband Johnny; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A service will be held 4 o'clock Friday, September 22 at Rockland United Methodist Church with Rev. Deann Lynch officiating. Interment will be held 2 o'clock, Saturday, September 23 at Bethesda Baptist Church, Union Point. The family will receive friends 5-7 Tuesday evening at Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia.
