Service: 2 o'clock, Saturday, January 16, 2016 Place: Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home Visitation: One hour prior to the service Place: Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia Eve Marie Perkins, age 86, of Conyers, died January 10, 2016. She was a devoted mother to two sons, Rick and Jimmy. Eve was very involved in her community, where she delivered Meals on Wheels and was a member of the Olivia Haydel Senior Center, where she made ceramics, participated in Senior Olympics and served others by giving manicures and much more. She was a dedicated member of Philadelphia Baptist Church and taught Sunday School classes for many years. Eve is preceded in death by her parents, Martha and C.D. McLarty; brother, Joe McLarty; and son, Rick Norton. She is survived by her son, James A. Norton, Jr. and his wife, Crystal, of Chattanooga, TN; brother, Jack McLarty of Conyers; granddaughters, Amanda Rachelle Norton, Meredith Azar, Tiffany Norton, and Caitlyn Norton; great-grandchildren, Gavin and McKayla Azar. A memorial service will be held 2 o'clock Saturday, January 16 in the Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
