Service: 12 o'clock, Saturday, July 22, 2017 Place: Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Visitation: 10 - 12 Saturday morning Place: Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia Eudez Segers, age 96, of Lithonia, died July 19, 2017. She was the oldest living member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and loved the Lord. A 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, she also loved to travel and has traveled to every state except for Hawaii. Eudez was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Segers; son, Kenneth Segers; parents, Claude and Etta Baker; and sister, Odell Grizzle. Surviving are daughters, Loretta Goddard of Snellville, and Guinn Huffman and her husband, Jack, of Morganton, NC; son, Larry Segers and his wife, Mickey, of Monticello; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 12 o'clock Saturday, July 22, 2017 at the Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Hillandale Memorial Park. Great grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 10 - 12 prior to the service.
