Erik Malcolm "Roady" Moritz, age 63, of Covington, died August 8, 2020. Born in New York, New York, to Malcolm and Edith Moritz, who moved to Atlanta when he was very young. Roady was a "true craftsman" not only in his field of motorcycles but in anything he set his mind to accomplish. He was also generous with his time and often helped people in whatever way he could. Roady was known as a "gentle giant" and was truly kind of heart. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and loved snow skiing with family and friends. Erik was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm and Edith Moritz. Surviving are his brother, Edwin Moritz and his wife, Stephanie, of Superior, Colorado; sister, Elise Moritz and her husband, Thomas Blam, of Atlanta; the love of his life, Patricia Lynn Davis of Covington; niece, Eliana Blam of Atlanta; and nephew, Sam Moritz of Denver, Colorado. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
