Erik Ford Kooken, age 35, surrounded by his family, passed away on April 20, 2015,after a long illness. He was a 1999 graduate of Lithonia High School where he served as Commander in the ROTC. Erik is survived by his parents, Phyllis and Larry Kooken of Lithonia, GA; two brothers, Lee Kooken and his wife, Jennifer of New Orleans, and Jeff Kooken and his wife, Christie, of Conyers, GA; several aunts,uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A funeral service will be held 2 o'clock, Thursday, April 23 in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia, with Dr. Lawrence E. Wilson officiating.
