Henry, age 50, of Smyrna, formerly of Snellville, died Saturday, October 24, 2015, from complications arising from an accident in 2006. Eric was raised in Snellville and graduated from Brookwood High School in 1983. He had been a resident of Cobb County for the past 18 years and at an early age of 16 he became a License Private Pilot. He was a member of The Boy Scouts of America, Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.), FAA Experimental Aircraft Association and the First Baptist Church of Smyrna. He loved to play the bass guitar, enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, real time flight simulation, and Karaoke. Two of his favorite places to visit was Panama City Beach and Helen. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Henry and is survived by his Fiance, Leslie Porter of Smyrna; mother, Joyce Henry Marlowe of Cumming; sister, Teresa Hubbard of Blue Ridge; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 3 o'clock, Thursday, October 29, in the Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Rev. Waldo Woodcock officiating. Family will receive friends from 1 until 3 on Thursday.
