Elizabeth "Libby" Mitchell, age 93, of Lithonia, died Wednesday, December 3, 2014. Libby lived her whole life in the city of Lithonia where she served her community for 35 years as a Council Woman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ethan Edgar "Mitch" Mitchell, Jr; son, Jeff Mitchell; and grandson, Brad Mitchell. Surviving are her daughter, Judy Wilkerson and her husband, Tommy, of Loganville; sisters, Doris Williams of Woodstock and Patricia Robinson of Lithonia; grandsons, Greg Mitchell, Tyson and Bryce Wilkerson; great-granddaughters, Hannah and Stella Rose Wilkerson; great-grandsons, Beau and Dylan Mitchell, Drake and Gage Wilkerson; nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2 o'clock, Sunday, December 7, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. Interment will follow at the Lithonia City Cemetery.
