Edith Mae Chapman, age 90, of Loganville, died Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Born in Lithonia to Homer Herschel and Willie Mae Chapman, she attended Lagrange College; was a lifelong member of the Lithonia First United Methodist Church; and retired from Hartford Insurance Company after 40 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, William Lawrence Chapman. Surviving are her sister, Hettie Thompson of Amherst, MA; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside service will be held 2 o'clock Saturday, November 29, at Lithonia City Cemetery with David Chapman officiating.
