Service: 2:30 o'clock, Friday, February 17, 2017 Place: Lithonia Chapel of Henry Funeral Home Visitation: 1 - 2:30 prior to the service Place: Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia Doris R. Wilkerson, age 86, of Loganville, died February 15, 2017. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, and was well known for her cooking. Doris was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly by all those who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Ardell Wilkerson, and parents, Frank and Josephine Ryals. Surviving are her daughter, Dorothy Howell and Wayne Cody of Clayton; sons, Tommy Wilkerson and his wife, Judith, of Loganville, and Eddie Wilkerson and his wife, Brenda, of Carrollton; grandchildren, Jonathan Wilkerson, Amber Wilkerson, Tyson Wilkerson, Bryce Wilkerson, Ashley Howell, and Jessica Howell Small; 9 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 2:30 o'clock Friday, February 17, at the Lithonia chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Haynes Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1:00 - 2:30 prior to the service.
