Doris Miner Schilling, age 88, of Stone Mountain, died September 8, 2015. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who enjoyed watching birds, working in her flower garden, and was an avid reader. Doris gave time to her community by serving as a 'Pink Lady' at Northside Hospital where she worked in the gift shop for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Joseph Schilling and son, Larry Schilling. Surviving are her daughters, Jane Wilson and her husband, Mike , of Loganville, Nancy Wilson and her husband, Danny, of Streetsboro, Ohio; sons, Steve Schilling and his wife, Lee, of Rochester, Ma, David Schilling of Roswell; sister, Jane Harvey of Chicago, IL; 14 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held 5 o'clock, Sunday, September 13, at Park Springs Retirement Community in their community hall, 500 Springhouse Circle, Stone Mountain, GA, 30087.
