Donna Elizabeth Wilkins, age 67, died October 3, 2022, at her residence in Elberton, Georgia, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Herman and Bertha Smith and grew up in Brownwood, Texas. Donna was a kind, happy person who enjoyed playing her guitar and singing; spending time with her friends and enjoying the company of her pet dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Jerry Gehlen. Surviving her husband of 28 years, Wesley Wilkins; sons, Charles Gehlen and Kevin Gehlen; daughters, Stacey Horton and Shelley Graves; sisters, Loretta Smith, Jeannie Bastardo and Georgetta Partin; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Brownwood, Texas.
