Donna Lewis Garner, age 72, of Blairsville, died March 3, 2022. She was born in Stone Mountain to Thomas and Bessie Shubert Lewis and attended Towers High School. Donna was a self employed hairdresser for over 30 years. She enjoyed teaching her daughter, Zoe, how to cook using her mother, Bessie's recipes, especially the 'Gooey cake'. Donna loved to sing, but did not start until she was in her 50's. She performed karaoke in Conyers, Blairsville and often at Bear Creek Marina at Jackson Lake. Donna performed for the Newton County Masters Special Olympics for several years. She is survived by her husband of many years, Tony Garner; daughters, Leslie Campbell of Covington, Stacy Maguire and husband, Darren, of Gainesville; Ginny Garner and Zoe Garner, both of Blairsville; sister, Paulette Curry and husband, Cecil, of Jacksonville, FL; seven grandchildren, Marcus, Chelsea, Max, Taylor, Connor, Lennie, and Lilith; several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held 2 o'clock, Saturday, March 12 in the Fellowship Hall of Belmont Baptist Church, 3275 Iris Dr., Conyers, GA 30013.
