Donald E. Weldon, age 79, of Conyers, died Thursday January 29, 2015. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Lithonia Lighting after 31 years service. He was preceded in death by his wife Thelma and son, Donnie. Surviving are his daughters; Charlene Weldon, Cathleen Wood and Teresa Hobbs, sons; Keith, Craig and Donnie Weldon; sisters, Mary Ann Duncan and Laverne Webb, grandson; Justin Williams and 6 other grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2 o'clock Saturday January 31 in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Duncan officiating. Interment will follow at Rehobeth Cemetery, Tucker, with military honors. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
