Mary Dixie Baker, age 93, of Lithonia, died Saturday, February 28, 2015. She was born November 27, 1921, in Fulton County to James and Artie Cordell. Dixie retired from Yancey Brothers Tractor, where she worked as a bookkeeper. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Odis T. Baker. Surviving are her son, Philip Baker and his wife, Elaine, of Poland, Ohio; granddaughters, Susan Salopek, Gretchen Letcavage, and Jennifer Brown. A funeral service will be held 11 o'clock, Thursday, March 5, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home, with Rev. Ron Long officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Garden of Memories.
