Service: 2 o'clock, Saturday, January 14, 2017 Place: Social Circle United Methodist Church David Franklin Peterson, Sr., age 69, of Social Circle, died January 7, 2017. David was a woodworker and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, David L. and Norma Jo Peterson. Surviving are the mother of his children, Jamie Peterson of Social Circle; daughter, Emily Paleveda and her husband, Chris, of Lutz, FL; sons, David Peterson, Jr. of Gainesville and Theron Peterson and his wife, Maria, of Sebastopol, CA; sisters, Pam Conly and her husband, Dick, of Berwyn, PA, and Cathy Hipps and her husband, Jim, of Bogart; brothers, Lanny Peterson and his wife, Sherrie, of Loundon, TN, and Ted Peterson and his wife, Kathy, of Lawrenceville; 4 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service to honor the life of David Franklin Peterson, Sr. (August 8, 1947 - January 7, 2017) will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Social Circle United Methodist Church, 261 South Cherokee Road, Social Circle, GA 30025, 770-464-3854. A reception will follow in the church Fellowship Hall.
