Service: 7 o'clock, Tuesday evening, July 3, 2018 Place: Chapel of Henry Funeral Home, Lithonia Visitation: 5:30-7:00 Tuesday, July 3, evening prior to service Place: Henry Funeral Home James David Edge, age 73, of Conyers, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 1, 2018. He was a 1962 graduate of Lithonia High School; a longtime member of Lithonia Lodge #84 F&AM; and a manager of Tip Top Roofing. David was preceded in death by his parents, Lillie and Frank Edge, and siblings, Henry Edge, Nelson Edge, Ruby Williams, Doss Edge, Larry Edge, and Rhonda Edge. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Alice Terry Edge, of Conyers; daughter, Heather Edge Call and her husband, Todd, of Covington; grandchildren, Brandon Call of Orlando, FL, Haleigh Call of Covington and Hunter Call of Covington; sister, Evelyn Louise Mayhue of Lithonia; brothers, Frank Edge, Jr., and his wife, Joyce, of Philadelphia, PA, and Bradley Edge of Loganville; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 7 o'clock, Tuesday evening, July 3, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Martin officiating. The family will receive friends 5:30-7:00 prior to the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
