David Jackson Bennett, Jr., 58, of Buckhead, died Monday, November 6, 2017. David worked as a carpenter by trade, and enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Marie Smith. Surviving are his wife Marilyin; son, Michael Bennett and wife Jamie, of Jefferson, GA; daughter, Christina Bennett of Grayson, GA; father, David Bennett; sister, Marie Owen and husband Terry of St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren, Emily, Jake, Dawson, and Sawyer; nieces and nephews.
