Obituary

Darren Charles Jackson was born in Hattiesburg, MS to Evelyn Jackson on May 2, 1959. At an early age, he attended schools in Hattiesburg, MS and graduated from Hattiesburg High School (formerly Blair High School) May 1977. Darren enlisted into the United States Air Force in July 1977 and served his country honorably and remained until June 1978. After being honorably discharged, he was a truck driver for several years. Darren studied barbering and became an "impeccable barber" for numerous years. He worked for many barbershops in the Hattiesburg and Atlanta areas and was always in high demand. He last worked at 112 VIP Barbershop in Union City, GA where he was loved and respected by his barber family. Darren enjoyed fishing with friends and family. He was always a very conscientious person when it came to his appearance. Although he was a man of few words, he had one of the biggest hearts God ever gave a person. He was a quiet but strong man, always willing to help anyone in need. He loved his family dearly and always protected us. Darren leaves to cherish his memories: A loving mother, Evelyn L. Jackson, Lithonia, GA; 9 children, (* will denote grandchildren) Tavarus S. Brown (* Malaysia, Taliyah, Tamiyah, Tavarus, Romello, Julianna); Darren D. Williams (* Dylan); Shanna N.
