Darrell Wayne Hall, age 70, of Conyers, died April 6, 2021. He was born in Seco, Kentucky to Eston and Sadie Hall. Darrell was the owner and operator of Halls Paint and Body Shop for over 50 years. He was an active member of Way of the Cross Baptist Church where he enjoyed singing there but also at many churches he visited. One of his favorite songs was "Wonderful Peace". Darrel enjoyed spending time outdoors, working in the yard, visiting his lake house and riding in his boat, but most of all spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. His family loved to gather round when he prepared breakfast. He was known as "the Great Breakfast Cooker!" Darrell was a good man, loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eston and Sadie Hall; brothers, Troy Hall, Loren Hall, Roger Hall, Daniel Hall and James Hall; and sister, Mabel Adams. Surviving are his loving wife of 32 years, Anita Hall; sons, Daryl Dean and his wife, Melissa, of Phoenix, Arizona, and Patrick Shaffer and his wife, Mary, of Conyers; daughters, Marsha Paul of Tampa, Florida, Tawana Fernandez and her husband, Chuck, of Neon, Kentucky, Heather Hall of Frankfort, Kentucky, and Darrah Johnson and her husband, Josh, of Covington; brother, Mike Hall and his wife, Debbie, of Mansfield; sisters, Faye Stapleton and Sharion Pease, both of Richmond, Indiana; grandchildren, Magon, Leslie, Dakota, Hunter, Alissa, Audrey, Kylie, Joshua, Janelle, Zaden, Luke, and Jase; great grandchildren, Kimber and Kalani; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 2 o'clock, Friday, April 9, at Way of the Cross Baptist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Billy Coleman officiating. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made in Darrell's memory to Way of the Cross Baptist Church, 646 Sigman Road NW, Conyers, GA 30012.
