Darin Carter, age 48, of Monroe, died June 11, 2022. He was a student of Lithonia High School but graduated from Faith Academy in 1992. After graduation, he attended trade school and became a HVAC mechanic and was a member of Local #72 for 30 years. Darin loved fishing, hunting, watching the Georgia Bulldogs play, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was a good man who loved a good time with his family and friends and was loved by all. He is and will always be missed by his family and friends. RIP Darin, we will always love you! He was preceded in death by his mother, Pam Carter of Redan; grandparents, Sam and Bonnie Carter of Lithonia, and Larry Romero of Conyers. Surviving are his wife, Crystal, of Monroe; sons, Andy, Ryan and Austin, all of Monroe; daughter, Kaileigh of Monroe; father, Lamar Carter and his wife, Toreitha, of Rutledge; grandmother, Brenda Romero of Conyers; surrogate mother, Ruth Aycox of Bostwick; sisters, Dee Dee Carter of Rutledge, and Allison Millwood of Covington; brother, Ashley Knight and his wife, Melanie, of Oxford; cousins, Doug, Jessica, Nick, Jennifer, Samantha, Butch (deceased), Amanda, Sam, and Aaron; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2 o'clock, Sunday, August 28, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Mayes officiating.
