Crystal Lynn Burt, age 67, of Covington, Georgia, died January 11, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. She was born and raised in Lithonia to William and Mary Hartis, Jr., and attended Lithonia High School. Crystal enjoyed baking, gardening, going to the mountains and the beaches, where she enjoyed mermaid figurines, collecting sea shells and visiting lighthouses. She was an avid water garden enthusiast. Crystal also loved sweets and her grandchildren just as much. Crystal loved spending time outside, riding motorcycles with Richard and watching hummingbirds. When she was indoors she would enjoy watching cooking shows and 'Life Time' movies on television. Crystal is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Richard Burt of Covington; son, Joey Lamar Burt of Covington; daughters Amy Lynn Coachman and her husband, Steven, of Stone Mountain and Kathryn Nicole Yates and her husband, Michael, of Covington; brothers, David Hartis and his wife, Sharon, of Gainesville, Ricky Hartis of Conyers, and Kyle Hartis and his wife, Michelle, of Conyers; sister, Lisa Gilreath and her husband, Jimmy, of Conyers; grandchildren, Shelby Burt and his wife, Sherri, Isaiah Coachman, Brittany Yates, Kendall Burt, Jaylan Coachman, and Elyse Yates; great-grandchildren, Noah and Sidney. A memorial service will be held 3 o'clock, Saturday, February 4, in the chapel of Henry Funeral Home with Pastors Tim and Debbie Hogg officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 o'clock prior to the service at the funeral home.
