Clifford 'Sonny' Williams, age 81, of Lithonia, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014. He served his country honorably in the U. S. Army and worked as the construction foreman for Wellbro Construction. Cliff enjoyed spending his time fishing, painting, sculpting, and especially carving walking canes. He was born in Savannah, GA and spent most of his life in New York and Florida. Cliff was preceded in death by wife, Delores. Surviving are daughters, Delores Williams of Bronx, NY, Vaciel Pinellas (Dwight) of Kissimmee, FL, Elsa Castro of Lithonia, GA, and Valarie Williams of New Haven, CT; brother, James Williams of Bishopville, SC; sister, Arlene Rogers of Bronx, NY; 9 grandchildren, LaClaire, Tashawna, Nakisha, Clifford, Dashaun, Celeste, Kendra, John, and Nakeema; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11 o'clock, Saturday, June 21, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 604 N. John Young Pkwy, Kissimmee, FL, 34741.
