Clara King, of Social Circle, died September 29, 2015. She retired from Tucker High School where she worked in the cafeteria for many years. Clara was preceded in death by husband, Walter Lee King; son, Edward S. King; parents, George W. and Vera Watson Smith; brother, James Blissett. Surviving are son, Walter Phillip King, of Social Circle; sister-in-law, Barbara Ann King Carter, of Social Circle; grandsons, David King Saladino, and George W. King; many nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held 11 o'clock Friday, October 2, 2015 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Social Circle with Reverends Leah Cunningham and Michael Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church 1 hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens in Snellville.
